Arms & Shoulder Movements in the Golf Swing
-
In the final webinar of 2025, Michael Jacobs will focus on the human shoulder and arms in a golf swing. From anatomical design to motions in the swing, this webinar will be much like the Hip Dive from 2024.
-
The human shoulder is the most complex and mobile joint in the body, allowing for an exceptional range of motion. In the golf swing, the union of the arms and shoulder plays a pivotal role in controlling the motion of the club and facilitating the transfer of mechanical energy from the body to the clubhead. This intricate coordination is essential for both power generation and precision, making shoulder mechanics a critical component of swing efficiency.
