2025 Lesson Memberships

“All of my programs are built on commitment—both yours and mine. With a membership, we can work together to achieve what you never thought possible”

— Michael Jacobs #8 Golf Teacher in America & #1 in NY

Improvement in golf is a process—a commitment between the player and the coach. If you're looking for a quick tip or a one-off lesson, I wish you the best on your journey, but I may not be the right coach for you. My goal as a teacher is to provide comprehensive support. I will assess your body movements, measure your swing, and observe your play on the course to develop a personalized plan that addresses every element needed for your success. Progress is rarely linear, but with focused guidance, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your swing and golf game.

How the Memberships work:

With a membership, you will join the ranks of major champions and PGA Tour players who do the same programs. We will work together to diversify your lessons, whether it’s a session on the range or an in-depth 3D capture. We can also develop a personalized plan to target specific areas of your game, like improving your club speed and tee shots. This approach ensures that your training is comprehensive and tailored to your needs.

Why choose a membership? As a member, you’ll receive early access to my calendar, allowing you to book your preferred dates. Member lesson days are exclusively available on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Each member has access to a personalized scheduling portal for easy booking. Additionally, only membership clients are eligible to schedule one-hour and half-hour lessons, playing lessons, and indoor sessions during the winter at the Jacobs 3D studio. Membership offers a tailored and prioritized experience to help you get the most out of your training.

Plans also include:

  • A Range Membership at the Rock Hill driving range

  • 18-hole Playing Lessons

  • The ability to reserve tee times at Rock Hill Golf Club up to ten days in advance – three days ahead of the standard booking window.

The goal is for you to practice and play golf as much as possible, and these added features are designed to help you do just that.

Playing Lesson Information:

The "on-course playing lesson" stands out as a cornerstone feature of our lesson membership. With a tee time set for a Sunday morning, you can arrive early to warm up at the practice range. Following this, you'll join other lesson members for an 18-hole playing session. This experience offers invaluable insights not just into refining your swing mechanics and technical skills, but more importantly, understanding how these improvements translate to actual gameplay on the course. It's a morning filled with both work and laughter, providing a blueprint for overall game enhancement.

Have inquiries about shot selection, technique, or curious about strategies employed by tour players? There will be ample opportunity to address these and more. Occasionally, Michael Jacobs will join as the fourth player, but if Chen is available, he will take that spot while Michael Jacobs offers coaching from the sidelines. Playing alongside Chen provides a firsthand look at a State Open champion in action. Bronze Members have one designated playing lesson day, Silver Members have two, while Gold Members enjoy three. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, we'll notify you the night before or on the morning of the lesson to arrange a reschedule. When you register for a membership, you will get access to book your playing dates,

Launch Monitor, Tee Time and Webinar Information:

Silver and Gold members have the opportunity to use a launch monitor when they practice at Rock Hill with their Range membership. When you come for your first lesson of the season, Michael Jacobs will give you a tutorial on how to use and access the launch monitor.

All lesson members have the opportunity to book tee times at Rock Hill Golf Club 10 days in advance instead of the general seven day window. To book tee times, just call the pro shop and identify yourself and the staff will set you up for tee times.

Last year, we started a quarterly Webinar program. The kickoff season was a huge success and the Webinars have become very popular. We will be doing a quarterly Webinar series again in 2025 and as a lesson member you are automatically enrolled in the webinars.

National Membership Video Analyses Information:

With a National Membership, you will automatically be enrolled in all of the 2025 Webinars. You will also have the opportunity to have your swing analyzed by Michael Jacobs twice during the year. When you are ready for your first analysis, you will proceed with uploading your swings to the Jacobs3D video transfer portal.

 How it works:

  • Upload face-on, down-the-line and behind video to the Jacobs 3D video portal for analysis. Please include driver and iron swings with a closeup of your grip. Within a few days, your first analysis will be emailed back to you via our video portal. The video will be from Michael Jacobs with a full analysis of the swings that you uploaded along with a detailed practice plan for you to implement immediately.

  • Following the first session, it is recommended that you work on your swing changes for at least a month before booking your second analysis. When you are ready, please follow the same procedures.
