Chen Conquers the Ike
Trophy season is in full swing, and Peicheng Chen backed up his strong college season with a great victory at one of the Metropolitan Golf Association’s majors—shooting a final-round 65 to win the Ike Stroke Play Championship at Nassau Country Club.
The highlight of the week was making four straight birdies to erase a six-shot deficit and win his second MGA major. The 65 was the best round of the tournament by any player by two shots. Next up is the NYS Amateur followed by defending his 2023 NYS Open Championship.
